A Kitten Nearly Dies on a Vegan Diet . . . and Is Rescued by Meat
If you've chosen to be a vegan, that's cool. We respect your devotion to eating seeds and bark. But the vegan lifestyle isn't for everyone. Especially your cat.
Earlier this month, a veterinary hospital in North Melbourne, Australia, got a kitten that was NEAR DEATH. The vets say it was extremely weak and almost non-responsive.
Turns out its owners were vegan, and only fed the cat things like potatoes, rice milk, and pasta. And they almost killed it in the process.
And the vets saved the cat by . . . feeding it plenty of meat.
They say it's dangerous to try to turn your cat vegan, because cats really rely on meat. Quote, "You can't force your ideology on the cat. Carnivores will seek out meat and your cat is more likely to go hunting if you deprive it of meat."
The kitten is now up for adoption.
