A Man is Arrested for Assault With a Dangerous Weapon . . . McDonald’s French Fries?

I know McDonald's French fries are filled with chemicals and are so unhealthy they'll probably kill us all one day . . . but does that make them a WEAPON?

On Friday night, 26-year-old James Hackett of Lowell, Massachusetts went to McDonald's with his wife and his 11-year-old stepdaughter.  But while they were getting their food from the drive-thru, they got into an argument.

James's stepdaughter said something that made James angry, so he THREW his French fries in her FACE.

She didn't suffer any significant injuries, but the fries were still hot at the time . . . so James was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.  Yes, the McDonald's French fries were the deadly weapon.

He pleaded not guilty and will be back in court on August 10th.  Until then, he's been ordered not to have any contact with his stepdaughter.
