A Woman Was Arrested for Calling 911 Because She Wanted a Divorce

Around 1:00 A.M. on Saturday, a 42-year-old woman in Girard Township, Pennsylvania called 911 with an emergency.

And that emergency was . . . she really, REALLY wanted to a DIVORCE.

The woman explained to the dispatcher that she and her husband were DONE.  And she had two requests.  One, give her the divorce . . . and two, have the cops come and escort her husband away.

The 911 dispatcher told her they don't grant divorces . . . AND they couldn't make her husband leave, because he hadn't committed any crime.

The woman was cited for disorderly conduct and misusing the 911 system.
