Yesterday afternoon during the Grammy pre-telecast awards presentation, Alan Jackson was awarded Best Country Collaboration with Vocals with the Zac Brown Band for their No. 1 hit, “As She’s Walking Away.” This is Jackson’s second Grammy, the first being for “Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)” in 2002. “I was real honored when Zac asked me to be on this record,” Jackson said. “You know, it’s pretty cool when a few of us Georgia boys can end up winning a Grammy out in L.A.” Zac Brown added, “We want to thank our supportive fans, our hard working team and all of the great artists who’ve collaborated with us, including one of our musical heroes, Alan Jackson.”
