Am I Old Fashioned Or Are Generic Printed Thank You Notes The New Normal?
In June we attended two weddings and we brought gifts.
In the last month we have received thank you notes from these weddings. One was on a postcard with a generic printed message and signature. The other was also on a postcard note, but with a handwritten message.
I was a little surprised when we received the note with the generic printed message. I was always taught that you hand write a personal message on Thank You's and to me it seemed a little impersonal.
Should it matter? There have been times when I haven't received any thank you note at all!
Am I old fashioned? Is this how thank you notes are done now?
