Last week New Life Church in Renton blew our website up with a parody song about the Seahawks leading up to the NFC championship game.  That video alone created more than 400,000 hits to KATSFM.com!

Not to be outdone, another Seattle-area church is attempting to up the ante with their latest send-up of a popular tune using the Hawks' most recent win for lyrical and visual inspiration.
In actuality, Bothell's Eastlake Community Church has been in the business of creating clever parodies for the past couple of years. You can witness for yourself the five other well-produced YouTube creations on their channel, EastLakeCC.  (I think my son has played "Winner"  -- a takeoff of the Ke$ha and Pitbull collaboration "Timber" -- about a thousand times this year!)

The latest in a rapidly growing catalog of Seahawks-inspired songs is a takeoff of "Wiggle" by Jason Derulo with Snoop Dogg and "Bed Rock" by Young Money. The new creation is called "Gon' Get Two."  It's obviously a reference to the Seahawks quest to achieve another ring following their first NFL championship last year. It's a clever mix of game highlights and lighthearted fun.
