My son Benjamin turns 20 today (May 4) and like his older brother Mathew, who turned 21 a couple of months ago, we will have a family birthday party for him -- complete with a birthday cake.

Gunner thinks that over 20 is too old for a birthday cake. What? This seemed odd to me that he thinks my kids are too old for a birthday cake. He thinks that there should be a certain age when you stop getting birthday cakes. Yeah, in my head I'm thinking the same thing as you ... "Is he for real?" There's no rule that says you cut off your kids from birthday cake when they reach a certain age. I know plenty of adults who want cake for their birthday!

Do you think once your kids reach a certain age they shouldn't get a birthday cake?
