I love being a mom and I love my job, but I admit it: I would fish for a living if I could! HA!

Country Star Signatures I Am Glad I Got
Back in the day when I was doing a country concert a week, I met quite a few of the genre's biggest names -- Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Brad Paisley, Clint Black and more. But, there is one that I will never forget and I am so glad that I got his signature on my bandanna.
Children’s Village Reveal Party Was A Blast For Children’s Miracle Network
Children's Miracle Network is such an amazing cause. They help out the NIC unit at Virginia Mason Memorial, Children's Village and many other places in the Yakima Valley. And the really great thing about CMN is that the money stays local! All of us at Townsquare Media got to be part of the Children's Village Family/Radio Station Reveal party this week, and it was a blast!
Remote Control Aircraft Are Fun To Watch — Aero Modelers Head To Zillah Saturday
I love airplanes, helicopters and anything that flies. I have the worst eyes, so I cannot fly a plane. The next best thing is remote-controlled aircraft. You still need to see, but at least you aren't putting any passengers at risk. HA! There is a really cool group from Yakima that has a ton of remote-controlled aircraft. They also do quite a bit of charity work. The Yakima Valley Aero Modelers h
We Are Really Lucky In The Beautiful State Of Washington
I grew up in Wyoming and I considered myself fairly lucky. I mean, there is some of the best hunting and fishing in the world there. Also, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park, as well. We used to go to them all of the time. Until I moved to Washington, I thought Wyoming was the greatest state. Since I have lived in Washington, Wyoming now comes in second.
Honey Mustard Is Disgusting — What Mustard Do You Like?
I am a huge mustard fan. Love it on just about anything except peanut butter and jelly. I most recently decided to buy some honey mustard. I love honey and I love mustard. Together, not so much.
Oyster Shooters At Sea Galley For Bike Nights Was A ‘S-HOOT’ [PHOTOS]
Central Washington Bike Nights did not disappoint at Sea Galley at the east end of Valley Mall Boulevard on Tuesday (July 18). We have nearly 100 bikes at the event and a ton of people who drove their car and trucks. It was packed inside and out. The hit of the night was oyster shooters.
I have never done an oyster shooter in my life and I have lived by some of the best places for oysters -- Phila
Paws Up For a Purpose With Yakima Valley Pet Rescue Was A Hit [PHOTOS]
Yakima Valley Pet Rescue is an excellent cause. They help find homes for thousands of animals. Dogs, cats and even birds. They had fundraising event, Paws Up for a Purpose, on Saturday in the parking lot of Hop Nation. It was fun and they raised some dough for the animals.
The Best Rest Area Across Five States Is In Washington
I most recently went on a crazy road trip across five states. I started in Washington, went through Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Wyoming. Most of that drive on Interstate 84 is nothing but desert. Crazy boring desert. There is also a lot to see -- even in the desert -- but, sometimes when you get a little drowsy from driving and seeing the exact same sagebrush for 700 miles.
That's when you have to sto

Well, we are halfway through the summer and we only have a handful of Central Washington Bike Nights left! There is always something different every single time we head to a new watering hole. Seafood is on the menu this week! Sea Galley on Valley Mall Boulevard is where we are going to be this Tuesday from 6-8, along with Owens Harley-Davidson!
What Old Games Do You Still Have?
I most recently went through an old storage unit. I could not believe all the old games I had. They brought back a lot of memories. They were used so much when I was a kid that they are all taped up from me breaking them.
Riding The Iron Horse To The Red Horse Was A Blast For Bike Nights
Whether you went through the Ellensburg Canyon or you took Manastash, it was an amazing ride. Central Washington Bike Nights on Tuesday (July 11) was another great time. Some good friends and a lot of new faces from that side of Central Washington made it that much more enjoyable!
Green River Tunnels Haven’t Changed Since Journey’s ‘Faithfully’ Video
I grew up in the desert in Wyoming. The only green I actually saw was when I'd take a trip to like Utah or Colorado. But even in all of that brown sagebrush, there are some amazing things to see. Like the famous Green River Wyoming tunnels. I will never forget when Journey made their video "Faithfully." In Wyoming, we were like "OMG, those are our tunnels in the video!' Sure enough!
