Being Single Actually Costs You Money?

You’ve heard the old saying it’s cheaper to keep her. Of course they are referencing the cost of divorce and the fact it will cost you a lot of money. I think what is more telling is a new match.com survey that shows single people spend a ton of money on dating. The match.com survey shows the average single person spends $1,741 a year. Those costs include $650 at the bar, over $400 on new clothes, and $350 on hair and grooming. What was funny to me about this data, of those surveyed…wait for it…they only went on an average of 24 dates at year, that’s only two dates a month!
