Brothers Osborne have picked "21 Summer" to be their next single.

The tune, filled with raw emotion and about wishing the best for the girl that got away, has a poppier, more polished-sounding melody than John and TJ Osborne's past releases. In the song, the brothers lament the love lost: "You're the only broken heart I've ever had and love to have again."

"I hope you find the storm that you were chasing / Hope your eyes are still full of dreams ...," the chorus goes. "I think about how you and that 21 summer made a man of me ..."

"21 Summer" features lyrics about summer nights on the water -- familiar territory for the Brothers Osborne, who were raised in the small fishing town of Deale, Md., on the Chesapeake Bay.

“One thing that’s interesting about that area, as opposed to most other places that are country, is that while other people would have tractors and farmland, this town has fishing boats and the bay,” TJ Osborne explains. “These people get up early, and they go out there all day long basically farming the bay, and we call them watermen. So we grew up with that. It’s a very blue-collar, hard-working community.”

The track comes from the Osbornes' debut album, Pawn Shop, which was released in January. Their recent single “Stay a Little Longer,” also on the record, became the duo's first No. 1 single in late January.

“21 Summer,” as well as the entire Pawn Shop album, is available for purchase on iTunes. More information about the Brothers Osborne can be found on their website.
