Carrie Underwood's birthday celebration began at about 1AM on Tuesday (March 10). Years ago, that may have meant one heck of a party. This year, it meant a late-night wakeup call from a newborn.

Underwood and her 12-day-old son have been figuring out life together since she gave birth on Feb. 27. Until now, she's kept quiet on social media, sharing just a single photo five days after she and husband Mike Fisher welcomed Isaiah Michael Fisher into the world.

Just one hour into her 32nd birthday, Underwood tweeted that she was spending the kind of quality time that only a new mother can appreciate:

Fisher wasn't around, as his Nashville Predators played an away game in Phoenix on Monday night. He's mostly stayed quiet about baby Isaiah as well, with only a single tweet since the birth: "Thanks for all the prayers and wishes over the past week! Having a child is the best thing in the world!"

It's the first baby for Underwood and Fisher. Both plan on staying active in their careers after they figure out these precious first few months. Underwood has hinted she may release new music in 2015, but hasn't committed to a timetable. Her first scheduled tour stop isn't until June 26 in Ozark, Ark.
