For the first time since early June, we can't look forward to our favorite Thursday night gathering, Downtown Summer Nights. Sadly, the free concert series on North Front Street ended up last week. But we still have our memories -- and one of our fondest is listening to Yakima's own Zach Hinson and his band, who closed out the summer with a dynamite set.

Brett Eldredge loves his new puppy Edgar and he brought him both weekends to Watershed. I saw Brett backstage and asked about Edgar. Brett told me Edgar was exhausted from all of the attention. I see now why Edgar was absent at the meet and greet because he was being put through his paces with "Star" training from Brett.
