For the next few days, I am checking out. I'm thinking a road trip might be in order. I might even drive the length of the West Coast -- from California, up Oregon and back into Washington! I love the coastlines of all three states, but each one is amazing in its own way. I don't think I could choose which one is best.

I was raised in a very religious home. I went to church six days a week. I was raised, though, with the value that no one is different from anyone else. Whether you have light skin or dark skin, whether you believe in God or not or even if you have tattoos, you are no better than the next person.

A co-worker of mine has an issue, and he didn't cause it. He lives in a neighborhood where two houses have 11 cars and one motorbike parked in their driveways and on the street right in front of his house. I think there should be an ordinance that protects a homeowner from another homeowner's excessive number of parked vehicles.

One of my pet peeves in life is when grocery store cashiers put one or two items in a plastic bag. Before I know it, I'm walking out of the store with about 15 plastic bags for only five or six items. OY!! Grocery store plastic bags are being banned in some places, and Washington state may someday be on the brink of plastic bag extinction...

It's National Superhero Day and as a big superhero fan, I can't resist jumping in and having fun. Michele and I talked on the air about what super power you would choose if you could pick a super power. I picked flight and Michele picked invisibility. I think Michele is a creeper for that pick.

The world was recoiling in horror Monday (April 10) as we watched a man being dragged for filth on an airplane -- yes, he was being literally dragged off for not giving up his seat voluntarily! His name is Dr. David Dao (get THE TEA on the doctor at the end of this article), and he was on his way back from Chicago to Louisville, Ky., so he could attend to his patients.
