Yummy! Bring on the pig! Newly graduated high school students in the Central Washington Baseball Club are having a pig roast fundraiser this Saturday (June 20). And this morning, club members Jacob Haas, Nolan Cookson and Brad Wise stopped by our studios to visit.Saturday's Pork, Cork and Keg event is at Maison de Padgett Winery in Zillah. Featuring Maison wines, Bale Breaker Brewing and Snipes Mountain microbrews, the event benefits the Central Washington Baseball Club.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and the pork dinner buffet will starts at 6. There will be a silent auction and live music my Sieve!

The three kids that I got to meet from the baseball club are amazing.

Jacob Haas just graduated from Riverside Christian School. He is going to Walla Walla University on a baseball scholarship. He will be studying horticulture as his family members are farmers. That is awesome!

Nolan Cookson graduated from Naches Valley High School and will be going to a collage in Idaho. His main interest will be the art of exercise.

Brad Wise graduated from Davis High School and will be going to Midland University in Nebraska on a baseball scholarship. He will be studying strength and conditioning!

It pays to be active in sports and music and the community! Help these kids help others -- and themselves -- by helping yourself to some great food and fun at the Pork, Cork and Keg event this weekend.
