Chili Cookoff At Owens Cycle Is This Saturday

It's the time of year when chili just sounds good. And if you're particular about your chili and like to have more than one kind to taste, Owens Cycle has a treat for you: The second annual Chili Cook Off gets underway this Saturday (Dec. 3) at 11 a.m. in the Harley-Davidson dealer's parking lot, 1707 S. First St.

Got a favorite recipe? Sign up to cook -- the entry fee is only $20, and you might go home with a prize. Prefer to savor and sample? Just drop $5 for an all-you-can eat meal.

The cookoff lasts until 2 p.m., and all proceeds go straight to Yakima's YWCA.

Enter between now and 9 a.m. Saturday if you want to cook. The shop's open from 9-6 weekdays.
