Cold and Flu Season Is Here …
I hope you are ready because we are diving headfirst into cold and flu season -- and this season is shaping up to be not much different than last year. Last year there were more than 200 lab-confirmed deaths due to the flu, which makes more than 200 reasons to remember to wash your hands and stay home if you are not feeling well.

I certainly was not ready when Jordan called me this morning and said he wasn't feeling well. At first I just thought, "Oh well, he is just tired from working above average hours ..." and then I came home to find him on the couch. Moments later he was running to bathroom and throwing up. Neither one of us have been vaccinated, but after today I will be going to get a shot sooner rather than later!
