Couples Court: Is His New Date a Little Too Comfortable With Her Male Roommate?

We're all progressive adults here, right? Sure ... until we face a question like the one that's before this week's Couples Court ...

Dear Rik and Michele:
I started dating Jessica about a month ago. She has a male roommate. They are strictly platonic. Jessica told me that they are such good friends that it's no big deal when he walks around in his boxers in front of her. I have never dated a woman who had a male roommate, but I know how guys are and can see this dude trying to run interference. I will never feel comfortable with him in the other room or there when I'm not there.
Can you ask your listeners if they have ever dated someone who had a roommate of the opposite sex? Did it work out? How did they handle it? Is this relationship worth pursuing? Am I wrong for asking Jessica to ask her roommate to wear more than boxers?

Hard to blame the guy for being queasy, but is he maybe overreacting?
