Eric Church, The Band Perry Win ACM Awards

Eric Church and The Band Perry are this year’s first Academy of Country Music Awards winners. Organizers announced Church won Top New Solo Vocalist and The Band Perry won Top New Vocal Group Or Duo. Both categories were determined by fans and member voters. They now move on to compete for the Top New Artist Award. The winner will be announced during the show, which will be broadcast live April 3rd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
