Jon Kitna, the former Seahawks QB was just signed by the Dallas Cowboys as a third-string quarterback. The Cowboys reached out to Kitna when the news that quarterback Tony Romo hurt and is possibly out for Sunday night’s NFC East game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Kitna was a top choice because of his familiarity with the Cowboys system.

Kitna told the media he would donate his entire $53,000 paycheck earned in the one-game signing to the high school, where he teaches math and also serves as football coach. He is will return to teaching on Jan. 2 when the school comes back from winter break.

Kitna was drafted in 1996 by the Seattle Seahawks and last played in the NFL in 2011 with the Dallas Cowboys. He also play for the Detriot Lions and Cincinnati Bengals.
