Ernie Conwell, who following his College Career at Washington, went on to the NFL after being drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the 2nd round of the 1996 draft.  He played for the Rams from 1996-2002.  While with the Rams, Conwell got a Super Bowl ring during the 99/00 season when the Rams beat the Tennessee Titans 23-16 in Super Bowl 34.  Conwell went on to play for the New Orleans Saints from 2003-2006.

Ernie Conwell was honored by the Washington Huskies on Saturday October 13th 2012 as a "Husky Legend".  Conwell was honored with his family in front of the 66,000 fans at Century Link Field in Seattle Washington.
