Watching a show about the devil is taboo for some people, but don't let that keep you from watching "Lucifer" on Fox.

There are only a handful of TV shows that I watch religiously due to my crazy, busy schedule, but I stumbled upon "Lucifer," starring the British cutie Tom Ellis, and couldn't resist the temptation!

It's based on the "Lucifer" comic books in which the devil himself, Lucifer Morningstar, decides that he no longer wants to be stuck in hell. Instead, he wants to mingle among the mortals. He befriends a police detective on whom his charms don't work like they do on every other woman.

It's well written with splashes of humor sprinkled throughout the show. Sometimes that comedy is inappropriate, but that's what makes it funny.

Thankfully, "Lucifer" has been renewed for a second season.

Take a leap of faith ... or just say the devil made you do it and watch "Lucifer." It's on at 9 Monday nights.
