If I weren't already having a rough week I might take this news a little better. Sunday at WWE's Fastlane, Gold and Stardust are officially on the card in what will end up being an instant classic between two brothers. Having a younger brother of my own I know the range of emotions that come with an up-and-down sibling relationship. And that's certainly the case with Gold and Stardust, who have been having issues the past few months -- problems even the legendary American Dream Dusty Rhodes couldn't help solve.

After Stardust blew up and turned on his brother, leaving him lifeless in the ring after delivering a gruesome "Cross Rhodes," it's no surprise they have a lot to settle in Sunday's match.

Goldust, who is the Benjamin Button of WWE, is my favorite to win this match. I don't say that because he's my favorite superstar, but because the fact he's in the best shape of his life physically and he understands the psychology of wrestling. Goldie has remained calm through their mini-feud and my guess is he will whoop his little brother right out of the Stardust gimmick. Thus turning Stardust back into Cody Rhodes.

Whether he's Cody Rhodes or Stardust, he is definitely the future of the business. His agility and commitment are second to none. He's wrestled main event matches, held WWE gold and is set to become a "top guy" in the next few years. One way to prove all that would be to beat his older brother this Sunday at the Fastlane PPV, which is FREE on the WWE Network for the month of February.

Whatever happens between these two Sunday, I would hope it finally ends at the show of shows, the granddaddy of them all ... I'm talking about Wrestlemania. Goldust is a legend and future hall-of-famer, and Stardust or Cody is the future of WWE. If any two loyal superstars deserve a match at Mania, it's these two.

Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie and whoever else makes the decisions, this is what we want, this is the real life emotion that will connect with fans, and most of all this will be one damn fine display of sports entertainment. Hell, make it a career-ending match with Dusty Rhodes as the special guest referee. If not Dusty than referee John Cone, but for God's sake MAKE IT HAPPEN.
