Roxanne emailed me with a question: She has a boss who has bad breath all the time — we're talking dragon breath. Horrible. And Roxanne doesn't know how to tell her.

I've never had to tell someone that they have bad breath, but I have told someone that they had a booger or lipstick on their teeth.

It can be a little awkward and embarrassing for the person you're telling, but they would rather you told them, then walk around with a booger hanging out of their nose!

I would try to do it subtly by offing them a mint or gum.

I would tell them, however. If for no other reason, having bad breath all the time could be a sign of health problems.

But how would you tell your boss they have horrible bad breath?
