How Far Would You Drive to Get to Your Hairstylist?

What's the one thing we women obsess over and will go to great lengths for?

Our hair. The question is ... exactly how far would you go? How far would you travel to get a hair cut and/or color?

My hairstylist, Randi, moved to Bend, Ore., months ago and I've honestly considered making the 4 1/2-hour drive one way just to have her cut and color my hair. The funny thing is, this seems perfectly reasonable to me.

I found out that I'm not the only one who would do such a thing ... so that means I'm not crazy. Right? My sister-in-law has driven two hours one way to get her hair done by her hairstylist, who moved.

I think it's more than just who we trust with our hair -- like the fact that they won't turn it bright orange or chop it all off. It's the relationship we develop with our hairstylist.

I can say that Randi is my friend and I truly miss our time catching up.
