How to Wrap Lights on a Christmas Tree: Take It From the Top or Start From the Bottom?

Putting lights on the Christmas tree -- for some this is a planned-out science.

There are competing theories over whether you should start putting the Christmas tree lights on from the top of the tree or the bottom.

In my home that job falls to my husband. Decorating is his responsibility because he is extremely picky when it comes to the lights on the Christmas tree. To the point that if he doesn't like them after he puts them on the tree, he'll take them off and redo it.

My husband starts from the bottom of the tree, wrapping the lights around each branch meticulously.

How do you put the lights on your Christmas tree? Do you start from the bottom or the top?
