Is it Odd to Wear a Ring to Keep from Getting Hit On?

Photodisc[/caption]Gunner thinks it's odd that my girlfriend wears a ring, is not married and gets hit on more than when she didn't wear it.

It all started because she would get hit on a lot when we were out together trying to have a good time. She thought that by wearing a ring, then guys would not approach her because she was married. It seems to have had the opposite effect ... she is getting hit on more!

Is she the only girl who does this?
