It Was a Little Damp, But Joe Nichols Made It Feel Like ’75 and Sunny’

Joe Nichols has been on the road a lot lately, performing 17 shows in 20 days. I suppose that makes sense because his hit song "Yeah" has been at the top of the country charts for three weeks and his new single, "Hard to Be Cool," is off to a good start, too.

Joe played both of those songs in last night's set on the Budweiser Stage at the Central Washington State Fair and came back for an encore of "Sunny and 75" and "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off."

It was a little damp -- the Northwest'll do that from time to time -- but nobody in the cheering crowd seemed to mind.

During the meet-and-greet after the show we had the privilege of taking some of our awesome listeners backstage to meet the country singer. Sarah, Matt and Erica all got to bring along guests for a picture with the country crooner.
