It’s ‘Pi Day’ — But It’s Also National Potato Chip Day

Today is March 14, which is commonly known as "pi day." But today is also another special day -- National Potato Chip Day!

My favorite chip is a Pringle, which Rik quickly pointed out is not technically a potato chip since it's made of potato flakes. OK, whatever. Let's be real: I've never met a chip I didn't like.

Rik likes Doritos, which if I'm not mistaken are corn chips, not potato chips.

A little chip history:

• Potato chips produce $15 billion in revenue a year worldwide!
• The 1950s produced the introduction of flavored chips.
• In the U.S. we call them chips, but overseas they are called crisps.
• One of the most popular chip flavors is sour cream & onion.
