Unreleased material recorded by the late Johnny Cash is featured on From Memphis to Hollywood: Bootleg Vol. II, a two-CD set from Columbia/Legacy. The compilation covers Cash's career at Sun Records in Memphis from 1954 to late 1957 and his first 11 years at Columbia Records in Nashville from 1958 to 1969. It includes 11 unreleased demos and seven outtakes during his tenure at Sun. It also has a 1955 broadcast on Memphis radio station. It also features 11 previously-unreleased tracks along with non-album singles, outtakes and B-sides being released digitally for the first time. This follows the 2006 compilation release of Personal File, a two-CD set that featured 49 privately-recorded performances from 1973 to 1982 from the MAN IN THE BLACK.
