JT Hodges is getting into the Christmas spirit by starring in a movie! The 'Goodbyes Made You Mine' singer will appear in the Hallmark holiday movie 'Finding Christmas.'

Hodges will co-star alongside Tricia Helfer ('Battlestar Galactica,' 'The Firm'), Mark Lutz ('Ghost Whisperer') and Cristina Rosato ('Perfect Plan'). In the flick, Hodges' character goes to an open-mic night at a club in New York City with someone very special -- his love interest -- and performs 'Joy to the World,' showing the perfect marriage of his musical abilities and theatrical background.

“I’ve always loved performance art, period,” Hodges says. “It was choir and musicals in high school, and then on to theater and television studies in college. I’ve always been passionate about cinema, as a viewer and an actor. Names like Paul Newman, Robin Williams, Oliver Stone and Steven Spielberg will always have my praise."

Adds the singer, "Being able to work on this movie with Hallmark Channel was an amazing experience and opportunity for me. I’m very thankful and excited that all of my fans now get to see another side of my artistry.”

For those who just can't wait to spread holiday cheer, Hodges' 'Joy to the World' has been released to iTunes, bringing joy to country music fans early! 'Finding Christmas' will air Sunday, Dec. 15, at 8PM ET on the Hallmark Channel.
