Kane Brown's fiancee was watching at home when his name was called at the American Music Awards on Tuesday night (Oct. 9).

He won Favorite Male Artist - Country during the television broadcast, and his No. 1 fan, Katelyn Jae, totally lost it. She was on the couch watching the show when his career-altering moment happened.

"Caution, make sure ur volume is down, but oh my Lord I am so proud of this man right here," Jae writes in an Instagram post alongside a video of the moment she heard his name called. "You deserve this so much and I am so incredibly happy for you."

"I feel like I’m about to pass out," Brown said in accepting his prize. He out fellow nominees Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett for Favorite Male Artist — Country. "Thank God, thank my fans, thanks to my manager Martha, my team, my band, Sony, Universal Publishing. Thanks to everybody who helped me with this ... I love everybody."

Brown also presented the Favorite Soul/R&B Album award alongside Lauren Dingle Tuesday night, and though it wasn't televised, he won Favorite Album – Country and Favorite Song – Country for "Heaven."

Other winners in the country categories included Florida Georgia Line for Favorite Duo/Group – Country and Carrie Underwood for Favorite Female Artist – Country.

Brown's big night comes at a time that the country star has a lot happening both in his personal and professional life. Not only will he release his Experiment album on Nov. 9, but he also will get married to Jae before the end of the year.

"I'm gonna take three months off," Brown told Taste of Country in a recent interview. "We'll have the wedding and then we are going to take a month for the honeymoon."
