Keith Urban briefly had the tables turned on him on Thursday night (Jan. 17) when a contestant auditioning for 'American Idol' got the country star to duet with her on 'Baby, It's Cold Outside.'

Fifteen-year-old Isabelle Parell skipped school to attend the Chicago auditions, and she came in holding a note, on which she had written the first two lines of the song. When she asked Urban to join her, he complied, providing the counterpoint male parts until the third line, where he humorously sang that he didn't know the lyrics because they weren't written there.

Urban said he loved her voice, adding, "I'm not sure about your choice of singing partners."

Mariah Carey lauded her "humble, adorable" qualities, while Nicki Minaj said, "You have a thing about you that seems to me like a star."

Randy Jackson was less certain, and he voted against the girl, but the other three sent her through to Hollywood.
