Just one week after its release to radio, the new Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw duet, ‘Feel Like a Rock Star,’ has them, well, looking like rock stars. The song made a historic debut on the charts, coming in at No. 13.

The twosome premiered the new tune on the Academy of Country Music Awards show on April 1, and it has since become the highest debuting single of Chesney’s career to date. The beachy hitmaker only came close to that position back in 2007 when his hit ‘Don’t Blink’ entered the country singles chart at No. 16, and again when ‘The Boys of Fall’ came in at No. 17 in 2010.

‘Feel Like a Rock Star’ is the lead single to Chesney’s forthcoming 13th studio album ‘Welcome to the Fishbowl,’ which is set for release on June 19. “This song was such a blast to record, and I’m thrilled at the response it’s already received,” says Chesney, who is hitting the road with McGraw this summer for their Brothers of the Sun Tour. “Going on the road with Tim this summer is just going to be one long party and we can’t wait to get started in June.”

The Brothers of the Sun Tour will also feature the likes of Jake Owen and Grace Potter.
