Towards the end of this year KFC will be the first restaurant part of an international chain to open in North Korea. Representatives from KFC and Coca-Cola were invited to Pyongyang this past week. North Korea may be one of the most isolated countries and has been notably against capitalism so I was kind of surprised to when I heard about this. The first restaurant opens in Pyongyang in the fall with Coca-Cola as its beverage supplier.
