100 Jobs for 100 Kids Career Fair, directs Yakima area high school students in proper résumé language Monday at the Southeast Yakima Community Center. Students from around the Valley learned how to fill out résumés, test for food handler’s permits and how to prepare when job hunting. The aim of the event is to place 100 high school students in 100 part-time jobs this summer. Through the program, students are paid minimum wage, or $8.55 an hour, for 20 hours of work a week for four weeks.
