Kind Cops Who Protect and Serve — Now THAT’S the Ticket

Usually, when we get pulled over by a cop something unfortunate is about to happen to us. Not in my sister-in-law's case, though.

She's on her way from Texas to Washington this week and was driving in Kansas City last night looking for a hotel. At around 1:30 a.m., she ran a stop sign and got pulled over. To make things worse, she had an expired insurance card, too.

But the cop not only let her go with just a warning, he called around to find her a hotel!
