After many Christmas classics were being performed on ‘CMA Country Christmas’ Thursday night, Little Big Town mixed things up a bit with a soulful and rockin’ performance of ‘Santa Claus Is Back in Town.’

The four members looked festive as could be as the girls were decked out in plenty of sparkles, while the guys were handsomely dressed in three-piece suits. Little Big Town’s Jimi Westbrook took duties singing lead on the song, while his wife, Karen Fairchild, along with Philip Sweet and Kimberly Schlapman, stood by his side to wow the audience with their tight harmonies.

As if the group’s stellar performance wasn’t enough to keep the crowd captivated, midway through the tune guitar slinger and country music icon Keith Urban took the stage to shred away on his Telecaster during a fiery solo. Urban remained onstage with the members of Little Big Town, showing the audience why he is one of the most respected guitarists in country music, while Little Big Town did the same — only not with an actual instrument but with their amazing voices and four-part harmony.
