Little League Registration Information For Yakima Valley Baseball/Softball/T-Ball Players

While the cagers on the hardwood are still getting ready for the state basketball tourneys and AAU leagues are winding up their seasons, it's not too early to be thinking about getting your child registered for Little Leagues around the Yakima Valley.

The are five different Little League chapters in the Yakima Valley. You can find which league your child qualifies to play in based on the boundaries drawn by Washington State Little League by clicking HERE.

Yakima National Little League has already started their registration process for the 2016 season but still have two more opportunities to sign-up T-Ball, Farm, Fastpitch Softball, Minors and Majors.  From their official Facebook page:
"February 23rd, 5:30-7:30pm, @ Toppenish Middle School Cafeteria (104 Goldendale Ave.) and February 24th, 5-7:00pm at Kimmel's Athletic Supply(2105 W. Lincoln Ave.)
Please remember to bring your child's birth certificate, and 3 proofs of physical address.
Farm League & Tball Cost = $90, Minors & Majors Cost = $125."
YNLL is also looking for volunteers to help coach at all age levels with incentives being offered.

Upper Valley Little League's registration is on NOW through March 10th. This year they're online at www.uvll.com or in person Feb 25th 6:30-8:00 and March 10th 6:30-8:00 at the Sports Complex in Naches.

Selah National Little League is currently accepting registration only on-line  until Feb. 27 with tryouts scheduled for Saturday, March 5. Player fees range from $110-$135 with scholarships available.

West Valley Little League is also only accepting registration on-line which closes this Friday, February 26th at midnight with player evaluations slated for Saturday the 27 at West Valley Middle School (1500 S 75th Ave.)

NO CLEATS ALLOWED IN GYM!  Please have players wear tennis shoes, and bring their mitt and bat (if possible).
Select one session to come for your player's division.  This is drop in, so wait time depends on the number of players at each session.
Softball (Minors and Majors) held from 9-10 am and 4-5 pm.
Baseball Minors held from 12-2 pm and 3-4 pm.
Baseball Majors held from 10 am-12 pm and 2-3 pm.Registration Fees for T-Ball are $50.00 per player (4-5 years old), Rookie $100.00 per player (6-7 years old), Minors $125.00 per player (8-10 years old), Majors $125.00 per player (11-12 years old), Juniors $200.00 per player (13-14 years old)

East Valley Little League has both on-line at EVYB.org and in person registration available. In person will be held in the East Valley Central cafeteria on Thursday, February 25th and Monday, February 29th from 5:30-7:00pm. From the East Valley Youth Baseball Facebook page:
"Registration fee includes team hat and jersey. All other equipment/uniform is parent responsibility.  Please bring birth certificate and proof of residency. Cash, checks, and credit/debit accepted."
