Friends of the Yakima Valley School will hold a spaghetti lunch and silent auction fundraiser Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The President of Friends of the Yakima Valley School, John Mahaney said spaghetti lunch includes a salad and french bread and the organization asks people to donate what they can in return for the lunch. The items in the silent auction are donated from local retailers and others.

The lunch will be held on campus in the lobby of the administration building at 609 Speyers Road in Selah. For more information, call 509-248-0843.

This fundraiser is for the Yakima Valley School which is an rehabilitation center, which houses roughly 90 students and employs about 300 could become a casualty, due to state budget cuts.
