My husband works in the casino gaming industry and every year we are fortunate enough to go to Las Vegas for the big global gaming expo -- G2E.

We stay at some really nice hotels -- this year we stayed at Palazzo, one of our favorite places.

When we travel, we usually get treated to lavish dinners at restaurants where we ourselves could only afford to split an appetizer.

We attend parties at nightclubs that would cost us an arm and a leg!

We get to go to some wonderful Las Vegas shows.

All of this we would not be able to afford on our own.

Our shenanigans in Las Vegas this year:

We stopped by our one of our favorite spots, Margaritaville, then we headed to the Sugar Factory for some chocolate fondue and one of their HUGE drinks with dry ice along with gummy worms.

We attended private parties at nightclubs -- Tao, Tryst, The Chateau and XS.

I was in heaven when one of the parties had vampires, but not just plain old vampires. Oh no ... this is Vegas after all. They were body painted vampires where almost everything on them is painted. It was just like one of my favorite shows on Syfy, Naked Vegas. So to see it up close and personal was awesome!

We encountered a Micheal Jackson look-a-like.

We finally got to see the show Absinthe at Caesars Palace, which is fabulous! I would not recommend it for anyone prudish, though.
