Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation has set up in downtown Nashville for CMA Fest again in 2018, and the organization has already helped rescue at least one very special dog.

MuttNation will be set up from 11-3PM inside the Music City Center every day during CMA Music Fest. Lambert's mother, Bev Lambert, co-founded MuttNation Foundation along with her daughter, and she'll be on hand to take photos with each adopting family. MuttNation has helped place more than 100 rescue dogs in good homes during CMA Fest in 2016 and 2017, and they are shooting for 60 in 2018.

Dogs were already finding new homes as the CMA Music Festival kicked off on Thursday (June 7), including Pistol Andy, a 10-year-old Pomeranian whose elderly owner was recently forced to surrender him to the Nashville Humane Association because he can no longer care for the dog.

Miranda Lambert Isn't Afraid to Roll Up Her Sleeves to Help Dogs

As Nashville's Tennessean newspaper reports, Dana Pagane took her daughters, 8-year-old Memphis Clark and her 9-year-old sister, Ella, to CMA Fest on Thursday, and she gave them each $85 to spend on whatever they wanted. Once they met Pistol Andy, the girls decided to pool their festival money to cover his $150 adoption fee. Pistol Andy is just one dog who got a happy ending when he went home with a new happy family.

MuttNation Foundation is also offering fans the chance to win a one-of-a-kind MuttNation branded Epiphone guitar signed by Miranda Lambert via an online raffle. The booth in Nashville features MuttNation merchandise and the MuttNation Fueled by Miranda Lambert pet collection by Petmate, and proceeds from sales of both will go to benefit MuttNation Foundation.

Petmate is also offering all CMA Fest fans a 25 percent discount for online purchases over $4.99 by using the discount code CMAFEST on Petmate.com from June 6-12.
