‘Nashville’ Mansion Up for Sale
If you can’t get enough of the country music drama on ABC’s ‘Nashville,’ then you’ll be excited to learn that the Music City mansion inhabited by Rayna James (Connie Britton’s character) is up for sale. Unfortunately, it comes with a hefty price tag that only a successful country music star could afford.
According to New York Daily News and the property listing, the 20,000 square-foot, six-bedroom mansion is going for $19.5 million. The gorgeous estate is situated on six acres and boasts gorgeous wooden floors, stone hallways and wooden beams — all aspects that give the home country chic appeal.
On the television series, James’ music career is struggling and she’s trying everything she and her label can think of to boost her record sales. She and her husband are in danger of losing their home, and now we understand why: $19.5 million translates to a major mortgage payment! Scenes of James’ family chatting in the kitchen, her daughters playing dress-up in the master bedroom, and her husband making political deals in the living room were all shot in the actual Nashville mansion.
The first three episodes of ‘Nashville’ were shot in the home, but after that, parts of it were recreated on a sound stage.
