Thanks to a big donation from a local company the Yakima County firefighters in Naches, will soon have some new digs. According to KIMA, Allan Brothers Inc.donated a lot of land they "were not using," and that is where a new fire station will be built.

Representatives of the local agricultural fruit company said "they have seen the hard work the firefighters have done in their community and it just felt right to donate a lot that they were not using." For over 50 years, the District 3 firefighters were using an old market building as their fire station. Not anymore! Well, that is if voters approve the $1.8 million bond needed to actually build the facility.
