Polo Shirts Are Out of Fashion, Gurus Say [POLL]

I know two people who will be upset by this news (my son, Mathew, and Cefus): The days of the polo shirt are over.

The polo shirt, once known as a status symbol that hinted at a well-to-do lifestyle, was popularized by the fashion genius Ralph Lauren.

The polo shirt is versatile -- it can be dressy/casual when added to a pair of slacks, or sporty when worn on the golf course with a club in hand.

Sadly for polo shirt lovers, the fashion gurus are saying "burn the darn things ... right now!"

Should the polo shirt be buried in the '80s along with big, Aqua Net hair?
