Ford Motors is recalling 1.4 million vehicles from North America because the steering wheel can detach and cause drivers to lose control.

The brands mainly affected are the Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ from 2014-2018.

Ford Dealers will replace the bolts with longer ones that have more aggressive threads and a nylon patch to stop them from coming loose.

If you suspect your vehicle is at risk, contact your local Ford Dealer for more details and replacement.
