Steven Tyler is already famous for fronting Aerosmith for several decades, but sometimes the line between rock and country can get musically murky when artists like Tyler embrace a new genre. I don't think it's too much of a stretch these days -- rock guitars have replaced steel guitars on recent country hits from artists like Eric Church and Jason Aldean. Tyler, who has a new song and a new video, is just the latest to bridge the two styles.

"Love Is Your Name" is the first track that Tyler cut for his upcoming country debut. He says the song just jumped right out to him as the perfect way to introduce him to the country audience. The video has some great visuals and colors, and I love the mix of a backwoods hoedown with a contemporary feel.

It's worth watching and seeing whether Tyler will make the crossover from rock star to country music star in the same vein as Darius Rucker did a few years back.
