The album marks Ronnie’s first work as a solo artist since the retirement of the legendary country duo Brooks & Dunn, a musical pairing with Kix Brooks that gave the singer over twenty years of success and over thirty number-one hits in country music. Now that he’s venturing out on his own and calling the shots, Ronnie admits that despite all the changes in his career, he hasn’t changed one bit. Ronnie said “I haven’t done anything, nothing—nothing different than what I always do. Cut most of the thing at what we call The Barn behind my house. The boys are all set up and rehearsing right now. The Neighbors HATE us! [laugh].” Ronnie will headline the ACM Freemont Street Experience concert series on April 2nd as a part of ACM Week before performing live on the ACM Awards April 3rd at 8PM Eastern on CBS.
