After months, years really, of free publicity, M & M Mars candy company has come to an agreement with Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and developed a limited edition run of "Seattle Mix" Skittles which will contain only blue and green colored candies inside each bag.

Seahawks fans have been giving Lynch Skittles showers every time he scores, in tribute to the practice that started with his mother when he was a youngster.  Lynch's mom used to give him, what she called, "power pellets" to reward him during games.

Terms of the deal are still undisclosed, but some estimates think that the Skittles brand will get over $5 million worth of publicity as the player is in the middle of the media circus known as Super Bowl Week.

According to ESPN, "Lynch will receive financial compensation. The brand also will donate $10,000 to Lynch's Fam First Foundation for every touchdown he scores in Sunday's Super Bowl."
