Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll's autobiography is entitled "Win Forever."  I suppose in order to do that, one would have to play forever -- which is exactly what Hawks star quarterback Russell Wilson intends to do.

Tuesday, during his final press conference of the season at Seahawks headquarters (see it here) Wilson stated, "I obviously want to play in Seattle forever. That’s my goal, and I want to be with this organization. I love this organization. I love this city. I love these fans, and I love winning here.

"We’ve won a lot of football games here, and that’s the goal, you know. Every year I step on the field, every time I go out those doors back there, the goal is to have a winning day and the goal is to have a winning practice with great teammates around me. So, I think that’s where my focus is, is just continue to find ways to win, and hopefully it’s here in Seattle forever."

Despite Sunday's heartbreaking loss in the Super Bowl and the role Wilson had in the controversial final play that resulted in an interception, many Seahawks fans would probably be all right with that.

Wilson just completed the third year of a four-year rookie contract and is expected to become one of the highest paid players in the sport.
