Carrie Underwood headlined Spotify's inaugural Hot Country Live concert in New York City on Wednesday night (July 4), and while she has not toured in nearly two years, photos and video show she looks no less comfortable.

Underwood's 14-song set included hits like "Blown Away" and "Church Bells," as well as her latest single "Cry Pretty," the title track of her new album which is due out on Sept. 14. That's the only new song she performed at the Rooftop at Pier 17 on Independence Day. The Digital Journal reports that she closed with "Before He Cheats." Dan + Shay and Filmore opened for Underwood, offering their own high-energy mix of pop, rock and country music.

While she has teased upcoming tour news in recent interviews, as of now Underwood has just one remaining 2018 date on her calendar, an Aug. 2 slot at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minn. Her new album will be her first in nearly three years and her first since switching record labels in 2017. The 2005 American Idol winner spent the first part of her career on Sony Music Nashville, but is now a part of UMG Nashville.

After performing on Wednesday night, Underwood shared a photo to Instagram and added, "Amazing night in NYC for #IndependenceDay. Thanks, fans and Spotify for making this night so special and one I won’t ever forget!"

A lack of live shows doesn't mean Underwood hasn't remained visible. In June, she walked the red carpet at the 2018 CMT Awards and 2018 Radio Disney Awards. It marked her first red carpet appearances since a debilitating fall at home in November 2017.
